4 years agoHouston Astros closer Ryan Pressly worked a scoreless ninth inning to pick up his ninth save of the season in the Astros 6-3 win over the Blue Jays. Pressly walked a hitter but picked up his second save in the past week. Pressly is enjoying a solid season, posting a 1.04 WHIP, a 2.16 ERA while striking out 25 hitters through his first 25 innings pitched this season. The only issue moving forward, however, is that the Astros offense rarely has put the team in situations for save opportunities. Pressly is worth a roster spot in most fantasy formats and has secured the ninth inning role for a talented Astros team moving forward.--Joey C - RotoBaller
