5 years agoBoston Red Sox pitcher Ryan Weber is the likely candidate to start Thursday's series finale against the Royals, with reliever Mike Shawaryn to follow in a long relief role. Red Sox manager Alex Cora mentioned that it will not be an opener situation. Weber has recorded an ERA of 4.50 to go along with 13 strikeouts and three walks through 18 innings of work.
