Ryan Yarbrough Allows Five Runs
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Ryan Yarbrough managed to get through six innings while allowing five runs on five hits, two walks, and four strikeouts. He's been able to throw a couple of nice games here and there but has been inconsistent as evidenced by his 5.59 ERA. Despite some rough starts, he's still been an innings eater for the Rays going seven or more innings in three of his last five starts. At this point, he's more of a desperation streamer who should only be used against the weakest of lineups. His next appearance should come against the Yankees, which is not a recommended play in any leagues.
