Ryan Yarbrough Fans Six In Sunday’s No-Decision
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Ryan Yarbrough allowed one run on five hits and a walk while striking out six across seven innings in Sunday's 3-2 loss to Cleveland. He did not factor into the decision. The southpaw surrendered a solo shot to Cesar Hernandez in the first inning but cruised through the rest of the game. He threw 92 pitches, landing 67 for strikes. It was his first quality start since June 27. Yarbrough owns a 4.38 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, and 90 strikeouts across 109 innings in 2021. The 29-year-old will look to build on Sunday's performance in Friday's home start against the Red Sox.
