6 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Ryan Yarbrough got another start on Saturday and beat the Red Sox, pitching 7 2/3 innings with seven strikeouts, no walks, and one earned run. His only mistake was a home run ball to Jackie Bradley Jr. but was otherwise unhittable. This was a lineup without J.D. Martinez, but that doesn't make it much less impressive. The Rays have been using the opener a bit more sparingly which is good for Yarbrough's value. His 5.31 ERA is not indicative of how well he's pitched lately, despite a 5.31 ERA this season, he has a 3.51 ERA in the last month. He'll face the Angels next time out.--Zach Alexander
