3 years agoTampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Ryan Yarbrough (COVID-19) will be activated and follow opener Louis Head for Wednesday's game against the Baltimore Orioles, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Yarbrough was placed on the 10-day injured list on August 10 for COVID-19 related reasons. He's had a poor year on the mound, starting 17 games with a 4.76 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, 19.6 K%, and 4.2 BB%. It's unclear what the Rays plans are for Yarbrough moving forward, but either way, his fantasy value has dwindled since he pitched to a 3.56 ERA last season. Wins is the only category he could help in, with a low strikeout rate and high ERA.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
