7 years agoWashington Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman (back) has been placed on the 10-day DL. Zimmerman had been in and out of the Nationals lineup these past few weeks, and it seems as if the organization saw it best to allot their veteran a proper amount of time to heal. In his absence, it is likely that Matt Adams will continue to man first base. Adams has been on a tear of late, as he has produced eight home runs since the start of May. If Adams is available, pick him up and start him against any and all right-handed pitchers.--Kev Mahserejian - RotoBaller
