Ryon Healy Exits Early With Lower Back Discomfort
6 years agoSeattle Mariners third baseman Ryon Healy was forced to leave Monday's game early after experiencing lower back stiffness. Healy had an ugly swing striking out in the fourth but stayed in the game hitting a sacrifice fly in the sixth before getting lifted for Daniel Vogelbach. The M's haven't updated his status if they expect him to miss any time, but he's likely to be considered day-to-day. Healy is having a decent season batting .240 with seven homers, 25 RBI, and 16 doubles as has shown fantasy value in deep mixed leagues. If he were to miss time Vogelbach and J.P. Crawford will benefit in his absence, but look for an update from the Mariners within the next 24 hours.
