Ryon Healy Hitting .400 Over Last Six Games
7 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Ryon Healy is on a mini-hot streak over his last six games, going 10-for-25 (.400) to raise his batting average up to .257. The Mariners will open up a series with the Yankees in New York beginning Tuesday and Healy has one double, four home runs and six runs batted in over his last six games played. Healy is slugging .506 in 85 at-bats hitting on the road this season and will have an opportunity to pad his power numbers hitting in the homer-friendly Yankee Stadium. Healy will not carry a high on-base percentage this season but needs to improve hitting with runners in scoring position. In 48 at-bats with an opportunity to drive in a run Healy is slashing only .250/.294/.417 with six extra-base hits among his 12 hits in these situations. Healy's value currently is best utilized as a bench piece on a deep, AL-only fantasy roster.
