7 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman Ryon Healy is not in the lineup on Thursday, per mlb.com. Newly-recalled Daniel Vogelbach will get the start for the matinee matchup against the A's and give the streaky Healy a breather. Healy has cooled off lately and is stuck in a 3-for-27 funk over his last seven games played. The day off appears to be centered around getting Vogelbach some at-bats and giving Healy some rest in a get-away game. Healy should be back in the lineup for the Mariners weekend series against the Twins.--Joey C - RotoBaller
