5 years agoJacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Ryquell Armstead has cleared concussion protocol and is expected to play in Thursday's preseason meeting with the Miami Dolphins. Armstead and former Texans running back Alfred Blue are competing to back up Leonard Fournette, but Blue's dealing with a foot injury and won't play Thursday, opening up a chance for Armstead to impress. Fournette is the team's workhorse back, but with him expected to be the team's best third-down option, it's possible Armstead or Blue gets to see a little early down work. It won't be enough for either to be fantasy relevant without a Fournette injury, though.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
