3 years agoTom Pelissero of the NFL Network has reported that the New Orleans Saints worked out a group of wide receivers on Monday that includes veterans Kenny Stills and Marqise Lee. The Saints blew out the Green Bay Packers in Week 1, but the club seems to be doing their due diligence with No. 1 wide receiver Michael Thomas (ankle) on the PUP list and No. 2 wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith (hamstring) on Injured Reserve. Stills started his career with the Saints in 2013 and played two years in Sean Payton's system. Most recently, Stills played in 10 games and caught 11 of his 19 targets for 144 yards for the Houston Texans. Lee spent five years with the Jacksonville Jaguars, but has suffered a string of bad injuries, that includes a torn ACL in 2018. Lee hasn't suited up in a NFL since 2019, but has bounced around training camps with the New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers over the past two offseasons. Even if the Saints sign Lee and/or Stills, both can be avoided in all formats.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
