Saints Defense Gets Marshon Lattimore, Marcus Davenport Back
4 years agoNew Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore (hamstring) and defensive end Marcus Davenport (elbow, toe) will play in Monday’s contest against the Chargers. Lattimore is returning to the mix after missing last week’s game due to a hamstring injury, while Davenport is slated to make his season debut. A Pro Bowl selection last season, Lattimore has been an integral part of the team’s secondary, combining for 15 tackles and one pass defended so far this year. Davenport adds considerable pass-rushing intrigue to a Saints Defense that carries hefty season-long upside when healthy. Facing off against rookie signal caller in Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, New Orleans’ defense is in a prime fantasy spot with two of its best players returning to the equation on Monday.
