5 years agoThe New Orleans Saints have been open to the possibility of moving up in the first round of the NFL draft. According to ESPN's Dianna Russini, the Saints have contacted all of the other teams scheduled to pick ahead of them to discuss a potential trade to move up. Picking at 24th overall in the first round, New Orleans could have their eyes on a particular player they believe could get selected early, thus prompting them to try and make a move. There remains no definitive trade in place, though, and the team remains confident they can still select the right player. Having been a Super Bowl contender the past few seasons with not many glaring needs, it does remain a mystery as to who the team's brass has an eye on. Possible selections could be Drew Brees' successor at QB, a defensive player to bolster that unit or a wide receiver.--Rishi Patel - RotoBaller
