3 years agoNew Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton is expected to miss Sunday's game against the Buccaneers after having tested positive for COVID-19, the team announced Friday. Payton's positive test is the latest amidst a week in which COVID-19 has swept across the NFL landscape, leaving many teams shorthanded during Week 15. On Sunday, New Orleans faces arguably its most pivotal game of the season, a matchup against Tampa Bay at the Caesars Superdome; not having Payton on the sidelines figures to alter at least their offensive gameplan somewhat slightly. Taysom Hill, Alvin Kamara, and others will have a difficult enough matchup vs. the Buccaneers defense, but from a fantasy perspective, the loss of Payton figures to stack the deck against them even further.--Jesse Borek
