3 years agoThe New Orleans Saints brass met with Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson a second time on Wednesday evening, according to sources. The Saints, Carolina Panthers and Cleveland Browns have been the most aggressive suitors for Watson, with the Saints and Panthers reportedly offering multiple first-round picks for the 26-year-old signal-caller. The Saints also continue to shed salary cap space for the 2022 season in order to make a potential blockbuster deal for Watson possible. The latest: New Orleans restructured the contracts of quarterback Taysom Hill, cornerback Bradley Roby, linebacker DeMario Davis and safety Malcolm Jenkins.
