3 years agoThe New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers have made offers for Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson and are likely to meet with him soon, according to sources. Other teams are also involved with Watson. He has a no-trade clause and wants to meet with interested teams before formally waiving his no-trade clause. The 26-year-old won't be facing criminal charges in the wake of a year-long investigation stemming from 22 civil lawsuits over sexual misconduct, which has made Watson more intriguing to QB-needy teams this offseason. The Saints could still re-sign Jameis Winston, but Watson would be a notable upgrade under center.
