7 years agoThe New Orleans Saints are pushing hard to secure free-agent wide receiver Jordy Nelson away from the Raiders, according to a source. The Seahawks are another team in the mix for Nelson. Nelson appears to be close to making a decision one way or another, and Oakland may be the front-runner. In New Orleans, a pairing with future Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees would be appealing as well. He's play alongside receivers Michael Thomas and Ted Ginn, although the Saints appear to be transitioning towards more of a run-first team.
