3 years agoMuch is set to change for the New Orleans Saints in 2022 with former head coach Sean Payton no longer roaming the sidelines. What may not alter too drastically is the quarterback spot, with general manager Mickey Loomis saying Thursday that a reunion with Jameis Winston "is certainly an option." Winston sustained a torn ACL during Week 8 of the '21 season, which led to Trevor Siemian, Ian Book, and Taysom Hill being tasked with holding down signal caller duties for the remainder of the year. Winston is a free agent, but his quickest path to suiting up as a starter next year could be with New Orleans, who remains in the market for a consistent starting QB since Drew Brees departed at the end of the '20 campaign.--Jesse Borek
