Sal Romano Notches Quality Start
7 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Sal Romano picked up a quality start in his season debut Sunday. He held the Washington Nationals to three runs over six innings while striking out two and walking four. The Reds went on to lose 6-5 but that doesn't diminish the fact Romano held a potent Nats lineup to just three runs. Still, the four walks are concerning for a pitcher who posted an ugly 9.6% walk rate in 2017. Romano isn't likely to hold much fantasy value outside of NL-only formats this season.
