Sal Romano Picks Up Win Despite Poor Pitching Performance
7 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Sal Romano picked up an ugly win on Wednesday in a 7-4 victory over the Diamondbacks. The 24-year-old surrendered four runs on seven hits (including two home runs) and no walks with three strikeouts in five innings pitched. Romano can thank his teammates Adam Duvall and Scott Schebler for two home runs and six RBI of offensive support. Romano is now 3-6 on the season with a massive 6.00 ERA in 60 innings pitched. He should not be trusted or rostered by fantasy players at this point in most leagues.
