6 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Sal Romano fell to 6-9 after Wednesday's 7-4 loss to the Tigers. Romano allowed four runs on eight hits (including a solo home run) and no walks with three strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings. This was Romano's first start in his last five in which he allowed more than three earned runs. He 5.12 ERA and a 1.42 WHIP in 116 IP. The 24-year-old has had an up-and-down season and has been inconsistent, but faces a favorable Mets matchup in his next start Tuesday.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
