Sal Romano Turns In Decent Start Friday
6 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Sal Romano pitched an average game in Friday's 8-2 loss to the Brewers, allowing two runs on seven hits (including a solo home run) and two walks with five strikeouts in five innings. The 24-year-old is now 4-8 with a 5.30 ERA, a 6.70 K/9 rate, and a 3.80 BB/9 rate in 90 IP. He has delivered some good starts this season but still has a ways to go before becoming a reliable fantasy option and should only be owned in deeper dynasty leagues at this point. Romano will look to turn in a strong start on Wednesday against a favorable White Sox matchup.
