3 years agoKansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez (hand) is back in the starting lineup and is hitting third on Sunday against Seattle Mariners left-hander Robbie Ray. Perez was hit by a pitch on his left hand on Saturday and had to leave the game, but X-rays came back negative and he avoided a serious injury. The 31-year-old All-Star backstop faces a tough matchup in the series finale against Ray, but he's a must-start in all season-long redraft leagues. Perez has only 11 hits in his first 47 at-bats of the season for a .234 average, but he also leads the league with five round-trippers and has seven RBI and eight runs scored in his first 13 games of the year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
