3 years agoKansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez (head) exited Wednesday's game after he was hit on his catchers mask by a foul ball, according to Anne Rogers of MLB.com. Manager Mike Matheny said after the game that the injury was a "non-concussive event," but Perez reported having a headache after being hit hard on the chin of his face mask. He will be evaluated tomorrow, but the team exercised caution in removing him early.
