7 years agoKansas City Royals manager Ned Yost said he doesn't expect catcher Salvador Perez (thumb) to be available for around a week with a thumb sprain. Meibrys Viloria, who was just called up on Saturday, could see more starts with Cam Gallagher also beat up. Perez continues to sacrifice average (.235) for power (23 homers, 65 RBI), but he's still one of the more attractive fantasy catchers at a weak position.
