Salvon Ahmed Gets Involved In Week 7
3 years agoMiami Dolphins running back Salvon Ahmed has seen an inconsistent workload through the first half of the regular season. In Week 7, Ahmed rushed seven times for 26 yards and hauled in two receptions for 26 yards in the loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Honestly, it's uncertain if Ahmed would've seen that many carries if Malcolm Brown (quad) didn't go down with an injury. It's unclear if Brown will be able to suit up for the Week 8 matchup with the Buffalo Bills. That means, Ahmed could be asked to be the backup to Myles Gaskin in that one. However, it's not a favorable matchup, so Ahmed should be considered a desperation flex option, assuming Brown is out.
