Salvon Ahmed Likely Looking At Decreased Role
4 years agoMiami Dolphins running back Salvon Ahmed surprisingly led the backfield in snaps and yardage during the Week 9 win over the Arizona Cardinals. The rookie finished with seven rushing attempts for 38 yards on the ground. It was his first taste of NFL action and he didn't disappoint. Sadly, Ahmed is unlikely to carry much fantasy value going forward. Jordan Howard, Patrick Laird, and possibly DeAndre Washington will be in the mix this week. Matt Breida (hamstring) is hopeful to return after sitting out last week. There's too many options in the backfield for Ahmed to make an impact right now.
