Sam Carrick Scores Lone Goal For Anaheim Wednesday
3 years agoAnaheim Ducks center Sam Carrick scored the only goal against the Vancouver Canucks. The first period goal was Carrick's seventh of the season in just 25 games. Due to COVID and injuries, Carrick played 16:40 of ice time and saw a brief shift on the power play to go along with his 69 seconds of penalty kill time. The forward had three shots on goal, three scoring chances, and two hits as well. For someone who typically plays fourth-line minutes, Carrick did not look out of place in the top-six mix for Anaheim. Can he play this way constantly? That becomes the question.
