Sam Darnold A Desperation Option For Week 14
4 years agoNew York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold was finally able to find the end zone last week for the first time since Week 3. He completed 14 of 23 passing attempts for 186 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the Week 13 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. Honestly, Darnold played well enough to win, but head coach Adam Gase found a way to lose them the game. Darnold has not been a viable fantasy option all year, but this might be his only and best chance to have value this season. He'll be facing a Seattle Seahawks secondary that has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. The Seahawks can't stop the passing game, but it's the Jets, so they will find a way to mess it up. Darnold is a possible low-end streaming option, assuming fantasy owners have no one better to start in Week 14.
