Sam Darnold To Face Buffalo In Regular Season Opener

5 years agoNew York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold will meet the Buffalo Bills in Week 1 at home. Darnold made one appearance last season against the Bills, completing 16-of-24 passes for 170 yards, one touchdown and one interception on Dec. 9 in a 27-23 victory. He was a lot better at home than he was on the road, posting 12 touchdowns, seven picks and an 89.3 QB Rating at home, as opposed to five touchdowns, eight interceptions and a mediocre 65.9 rating on the road. Most fantasy owners in seasonal play will want to treat him as a low-end QB2, but he might not be a terrible low-cost roll of the dice in DFS leagues if you want to load up on salary to spread across other positions.--Daniel Dobish
