5 years agoNew York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold completed 23 of 36 passes for 199 yards with one touchdown and one interception in a win over the Bills Sunday. Darnold did what he had to do to secure a sloppy win in rainy conditions with Buffalo resting several starters, but did not inspire confidence he'll be a top-10 quarterback for fantasy going into next season. Darnold finished his sophomore campaign with 2,825 yards with 18 touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 13 games played. The Jets' brass has already committed to head coach Adam Gase for 2020 so Darnold will have consistency with the offensive system for the first time in his pro career. Darnold has the talent to be a very good NFL QB, but will need to show more than he has to be more than a QB2 with upside next draft season.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
