2 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Sam Darnold isn't a worthy fantasy option in Week 17 against the Saints. Darnold will get the start over Cam Newton against New Orleans after returning last week from IR (shoulder). The 24-year-old managed 190 yards against the Bucs in Week 16. After a strong start to the season, Darnold was inconsistent for a string of games prior to going on IR. The Saints are more on the stingy side against fantasy QBs, so it's best to avoid the youngster QB this week.--Rishi Patel - RotoBaller
