3 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Sam Darnold will start in Week 8 against the Falcons, according to head coach Matt Rhule. With the team down 15-3 on Sunday against the New York Giants, Rhule opted to yank Darnold and replace him with backup P.J. Walker. After the 24-year-old began the 2021-22 campaign with a bang, he has struggled over the last three weeks, throwing just one touchdown while hurling five interceptions. Nonetheless, Darnold does have a chance to bounce back at some point.
