2 years agoIndianapolis Colts quarterback Sam Ehlinger has surprisingly looked good during the preseason. He tossed two touchdowns during the preseason opener, but looked even better on Saturday. The 23-year-old completed 9-of-11 passing attempts with 136 passing yards and two touchdowns in the loss to the Detroit Lions. Earlier in the offseason there were rumors that Ehlinger might have a shot at the starting gig. However, Ehlinger is now competing for the backup spot with Matt Ryan in town. Ehlinger has certainly made a strong case for the backup gig, but he won't have fantasy value with Ryan healthy.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
