5 years agoNew York Jets kicker Sam Ficken will play in his first game for his new team Monday night vs Cleveland. The Jets signed Ficken after cutting Kaare Vedvik after Vedvik missed a field goal and an extra point in a 1-point loss last Sunday. Ficken made every kick in the Jets five-person tryout earlier in the week and was signed to be the team's new kicker. Ficken has been with five teams in his career but only has six career field goal attempts. He is not a viable option in fantasy, especially given how bad the Jets offense looked in Week 1 and the injuries to the offense heading into the matchup with the Browns.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
