3 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers have signed right-handed pitcher Sam Gaviglio to a minor league deal that includes an invitation to major league spring training. The 32-year-old Gaviglio made 98 appearances, including 37 starts, for the Blue Jays, Royals, and Mariners between 2017 and 2020 before pitching in the KBO in 2021. He put up a 5.86 ERA with 70 strikeouts in 15 starts and 91 1/3 innings for the SSG Landers. Gaviglio figures to be nothing more than a depth piece to start the season.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
