3 years agoSan Francisco Giants prospect Sam Long was called up and will make his Major League debut on Wednesday versus the Rangers per Robert Murray of FanSided. Long was cut by the Devil Rays and the White Sox in 2018. The 25-year-old was out of baseball and sat out in 2020. In an attempt to rekindle his career, he pitched well in spring training and was soon signed by the Giants. Hopefully, Long continues to improve and has a lengthy Major League Baseball career.--Andrew Lennox - RotoBaller
