6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals relief pitcher Sam Tuivailala had to earn his third win of the year on Tuesday. He pitched 1 2/3 innings while striking out two batters and only allowing one hit. He has a slightly higher than normal 3.69 ERA, but his K/9 has increased to 7.39. He's in a role in the Cardinals bullpen that doesn't do much for fantasy purposes as he doesn't get holds or saves very often. He'll continue to get work in the middle innings, but unless you are in a deep league he isn't going to offer you much as a fantasy asset.--Blake Sullivan
