3 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Samaje Perine was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday. The 26-year-old tested positive for the virus and could miss Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions if he cannot clear NFL protocols. He logged a team-high 11 carries for 59 yards while hauling in four receptions for 24 yards and a touchdown in Week 5's loss to the Green Bay Packers. Bengals starting running back Joe Mixon (ankle) was limited in Week 5 due to an ankle injury; Chris Evans would see an expanded role if Perine cannot suit up in Week 6. The Bengals also placed guard Jackson Carman on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Stay tuned for further updates.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
