5 years agoWashington Redskins running back Samaje Perine has carried the ball 11 times for 14 total yards in two preseason games. The fact that he has been slightly more utilized than Byron Marshall might indicate Washington's preference between the two, but his near-total ineffectiveness can't be doing him any favors as he seeks out the fourth RB role on the depth chart. Perine doesn't figure into the fantasy equation one way or the other at the start of the season. His inability to show any flashes in the preseason suggests he isn't even a viable option in the case of an injury to any of the Redskins' top options.--Chris O'Reilly
