6 years agoNew Jersey Devils defenseman Sami Vatanen was hungry for a goal on Sunday, firing six shots on the net in a 3-2 win over San Jose. He failed to get anything past Martin Jones but didn't leave the game empty-handed as he recorded a power-play assist on the team's first goal. Vatanen has picked up an assist in all three Devils games and he's not the only d-man on the team who's started the season with a point streak. Mirco Mueller and Damon Severson have both also notched up three helpers in three games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
