3 years agoBaltimore Ravens wide receiver Sammy Watkins continues to impress during training camp. With Rashod Bateman (core) and Marquise Brown (hamstring) dealing with injuries, the veteran has established himself as the primary wideout for signal-caller Lamar Jackson. Although it's no secret that the Ravens' offense is built around the run, Watkins could still get some downfield looks throughout the year. The 28-year-old finished the 2020-21 campaign with 421 yards and two touchdowns off 37 catches. However, there is room for improvement in his new home, especially if Bateman and Brown don't make it back anytime soon.
