6 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers defense finally showed up in Week 8, recording three sacks and two turnovers against the hapless Arizona Cardinals. They face the dysfunctional Oakland Raiders in Week 9. The Raiders offense has scored 10 or fewer points in two of the last three contests and rank about average in turnovers and sacks allowed. The Niners defense has struggled to force game-changing plays but are a viable, low-end streaming option in Week 9. However, Thursday Night games are often unpredictable and if starting quarterback C.J. Beathard (wrist) can’t go, the Niners might find themselves on the field longer than expected and susceptible to poor play.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
