San Francisco Eyes Week 12 Return For Deebo Samuel
4 years agoThe hope, per San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan, is that wide receiver Deebo Samuel (hamstring) will return in time to play Week 12 versus the Rams. Samuel has been sidelined since Week 7 due to a hamstring injury, leaving Brandon Aiyuk, Richie James, Kendrick Bourne, and Trent Taylor to take over bigger roles in the passing game than before. Upon Samuel's return, the aforementioned group would presumably take a dip in production as Samuel has proven to be an integral cog in the 49ers' offense no matter who has been under center. The matchup with the Rams is a finicky one on paper, but Samuel caught his lone touchdown this season against the defense back in Week 6. If he is available on the waiver wire, aggressive fantasy managers can eat the bye week with eyes toward season-long playoff production from Samuel.
