4 years agoRight-handed pitcher Ashton Goudeau was claimed off of the waiver wire by the San Francisco Giants on Thursday, following his departure from Baltimore. Goudeau made two appearances in Grapefruit League action and struck out five batters over four innings. Goudeau, who was electric during the Arizona Fall League in 2019, made his big league debut in 2020 with Colorado, but allowed three home runs in 8 1/3 frames. Having transitioned to the bullpen on a full-time basis, Goudeau will be looking to crack SF's relief corps, which has multiple openings up for grabs with two weeks to go before Opening Day.--Jesse Borek
