3 years agoSan Jose Sharks defenseman Mario Ferraro was added to the COVID protocol list while Jonathan Dahlen was taken off. Ferraro provided an excellent floor in "banger" leagues and daily fantasy with his ability to deliver hits and block shots well. Ferraro was averaging nearly three blocked shots a game and 3.6 hits a contest over his last five appearances. Ferraro even played 26:21 against Arizona and wound up a +2 in the wild 8-7 win. No one is sure if the defenseman is asymptomatic as with the new quarantine, Ferraro could be back by early next week if that is the case. Tonight, however, he sits. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
