4 years agoMiami Marlins right-handed starting pitcher Sandy Alcantara will get the start against the Chicago Cubs in Game 1 of their wild-card series on Wednesday. Alcantara posted a 3.00 ERA and 1.19 WHIP in seven regular season starts, but he has a very daunting task against a Cubs lineup that features six left-handed bats, including switch-hitters. Alcantara's fly-ball/line-drive percentage against lefties was over 63% for the season, and it should be noted that there is reportedly significant wind blowing out from left to right today at Wrigley Field. Despite his success in 2020, Alcantara could have a rough day given the playing conditions and left-handed hitting Chicago Cubs lineup. He could be a potential fade in DFS contests.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
