3 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Sandy Alcantara took the loss on Tuesday, dropping his record to 2-5. He tossed six innings, allowing four runs on nine hits without issuing a walk while striking out four. This may have been one of the situations when Alcantara just threw too many strikes and didn't force hitters to chase. He's been alternating excellent and just okay starts recently, with an awful one mixed in against the Dodgers. Still, he has a 3.68 ERA and the upside to pitch extremely well any time he's on the mound.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
