Saquon Barkley Barely Avoids Career-Worst Game
5 years agoNew York Giants running back Saquon Barkley disappointed for the second straight week. After a subpar game against the Lions, apart from one phenomenal run, Barkley ended Monday night’s game with 28 yards rushing on two yards per carry while adding 67 yards on six catches, most of which came when the game was out of hand. 65 of those yards came on one reception and prevented Barkley from having the worst PPR-scoring game of his career. The Giants are inexplicably not using Barkley through the air like they did last year, and the second-year pro is struggling to find running room as the focal point of opposing defenses. You’re starting him every week in season-long leagues, but he hasn’t lived up to the billing as a top-three overall pick.
